Villeneuve says his team has noticed a drastic reduction in major incidents across the entire incident life cycle. Reporting allows him and his team to actually see when major incidents occur and compare to previous time frames.
“Moving to xMatters, we had a set and forget rotation, an easy to use interface, so there is really no excuses as to why teams were not addressing particular issues,” he explains. “Also, it was important that the ability to have a two way integration, a true two way integration, because that helped with a lot of alert suppression.”
