Business Continuity Management (BCM)

Business Continuity Management (BCM): Because every client has different needs and different use cases that may constitute a disruption of business continuity, xMatters’ conditionally permits its clients to define and declare their own BCM events within the generally accepted standards of the business continuity management industry. Per these standards, BCM events are not recurring events or incidents sustained over an extended period of time but rather are particular incidents or events that individually give rise to a distinct threat to a client’s critical business operations and typically require a separate invocation of a client’s business continuity plan. As BCM events are typically infrequent, pricing for this product is discounted from other xMatters products. As with all messaging, xMatters reserves the right to audit a client’s use of messaging for proper use within BCM. Please contact your representative if you have any questions or concerns about the proper use and scope of BCM event messaging.

In addition, where the product provides the capabilities to do so, Users can access development environment features. Users are restricted from using EE for Business Continuity events or alerts or Information Technology alerts, provided, however, that recurring and/or scheduled EE alerts and messaging may be appropriate during sustained BCM events. Please contact your representative if you have any questions
