Solve Business Disruptions You Couldn’t Solve Before

When business disruptions affect your business, most organizations quickly discover that they can send messages back and forth – but that they fall short of true collaboration. Someone sends a notification, and there are a series of Yes Or No questions and answers that go back and forth.

We’ve tried to be cognizant of the need for a better exchange of ideas and working together, to go beyond simple alerts and to actually resolve issues. Because the alert is just the acknowledgement that we gotta do something. It’s the doing something that really matters.

With that in mind, we’ve introduced some new features to enable solving some particularly difficult scenarios:

Someone is trapped in an office during a fire: If you’re trying to make sure everyone is safe in an emergency, a simple Yes or No is often not enough. Someone could be trapped in an elevator, locked in a stairwell, or hiding from criminals. Enable responders to respond with a comment so you get crucial details.

You need to update information in a partner’s private cloud: You need to update information in the IT system of your integration partner who’s monitoring your servers. Your partner keeps your content behind its firewall. Use a closed-loop integration to not just see but to update protected content in local (behind-the-firewall) and cloud systems using email, web services and command line interfaces.

You have to get your message right before you send it: You need to ensure the accuracy of your message before you send it to your team. Proofread it all you want, but you only really know how it will look to recipients by previewing it. Preview your messages to get them right every time.

Someone’s status changes: You have sent a roll call and all your employees have said they are OK. But then someone’s software system starts to go on the fritz and she goes back into the roll call and changes her status to System Down.

You’ve forgotten the details in the issue you’re monitoring: You’re monitoring an issue on your mobile device, and you need to see all previous messages, or even inactive messages. Get all the information you need with ease and without coding.
